Our Thanksgiving Festivities!
It's fall and you know what that means, Thanksgiving is near! Your friends at The House of Hope are throwing an event to help those in need to have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
We are hosting the biggest feast of the year! We want to make sure that our residents get to experience a Thanksgiving they will remember.
- We are accepting donations from now (November 8th) until Thanksgiving Day @ 8am. (November 23rd).
- Thanksgiving Day will be the big dinner for all of our residents and volunteers.
We are accepting any donations anyone is willing to give!
Some examples include:
- turkey
- mashed potatos
- green beans
- any kind of bread
- stuffing
- pumpkin anything!
And so much more!
We are allowing our residents to invite 1-2 extra people per family. These invites do not need to be exclusively for family, it can be friends and others who are unrelated. We want to make sure that the happiness of this day is spread to all those who are in need and want to give thanks!
We are also looking for volunteers to help serve the food and organize this special event.
Volunteers are needed in these specific positions:
- Cutting and serving the turkey
- One person assigned to each food being served
- Dishwashers
- Welcoming the residents and their guests
- Seating the residents and making sure they get what they would like
And so much more!
We want to make sure that this event is the best it can be, and we can't do that without your help.
To donate, please drop off any items you are donating at our warehouse in Downtown Toledo. If you are in need of assistance, contact our number and we will come out and help you! (111) 111-111
To volunteer, message us directly using our email: thehouseofhope@mymail.org, or
call our number (111) 111 - 111!
If you're willing to donate, us at The House of Hope would be extremely grateful! The families at our facility will appreciate anything they can receive and your generosity will warm their hearts for the holiday's.
Your friends,
The House of Hope
