Coat, Hat, and Glove Drive
The cold weather is here! December 21st is the first day of winter, and it’s coming fast.
Help the families we serve at The House Of Hope stay warm!
We are in need of winter garment donations such as hats, coats, gloves, socks, thermals, scarves, and hand warmers for the cold months ahead for men, women, and children of all sizes.
We would appreciate greatly gently used or preferably new coats in all sizes and colors that would put a smile on our families’ faces.
Donations can be dropped off at 1501 Monroe Street, Monday-Friday, from 9 A.M. to 12 Noon or at the front desk before 6:30 P.M.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Your donations will help our families stay warm.
The cold is bitter, but we don’t have to be.
We are always looking for volunteers to help during this time as well. If you would like to help pass out and deliver all of these garments to the residents, we would greatly appreciate it.
Anyone willing to help can also contact me at bennettira@yahoo.com or my cell phone at (567)-868-8495. Thank you for your compassion during these tough times.
It is important keep our families warm, and we also have young children in our services who are more vulnerable to getting sick if not warm enough due to the lack of having these necessities.
To review, the following items that are needed and will be accepted are listed below:
